About our Speakers:
Frank Bergonzi joined Azelis in 2015. He was the President & CEO of KODA Distribution Group from 2012 and in 2015, following the acquisition of KDG Holdings, Inc. by Azelis. Mr. Bergonzi was appointed CEO & President Azelis Americas in Dec 2015. Prior to that, Mr. Bergonzi was the Director of Corporate Distribution, North America at BASF and also held management positions at The Dow Chemical Company, Witco and Union Carbide. Mr. Bergonzi has served on the board of the National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD), and as chairman of the supplier advisory panel, in addition to his role as a board trustee of the Chemical Education Fund. He is also an active member of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists (SCC), the American Coatings Association (ACA) and Drug, Chemical & Associated Technologies Association, Inc. (DCAT). Mr. Bergonzi holds a BS in chemical engineering from the University of Connecticut.
Terry Hill joined Barentz as North America CEO on May 1, 2019. Hill has served on Barentz's Board of Directors since March 2017. Hill previously spent 30 years with Univar, where he served in various senior leadership roles globally. He has also held leadership roles within the National Association of Chemical Distributors, serving on the Board of Directors and spearheading initiatives in e-Commerce, emerging leaders, and regulatory affairs. Currently Serving on the Supervisory Board and will support strategy, leadership, and industry relations. Terry also serves on the board of the Chemical Educational Foundation and Blue Pallet E-Commerce platform.
Mr. Jean-Paul Scheepens is President of IMCD US, part of IMCD Group, a leading distributor, formulator and solutions provider in specialty chemicals and ingredients. As president of IMCD’s US operations, Jean-Paul is responsible for its overall business strategy, P&L accountability, driving commercial excellence and organic growth, while cultivating the development and expansion of supplier partnerships. Jean-Paul has nearly 20 years of international business and leadership experience in the chemical industry at Avient, PolyOne, PPG, AkzoNobel and most recently, at IMCD since 2022. He has a track record of driving profitable growth, building great teams – driven by his passion for solving customer challenges. Jean-Paul holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Management Science from Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands.
