WEBINAR: Leading Transformation through Disruptions and Uncertainty

The September 26th virtual discussion has been recorded. Members of Société can view the webinar here

In an era marked by rapid technological advancements, sustainability imperatives, and global uncertainties, the chemical industry is facing unprecedented challenges and opportunities. Never has it been more essential for leaders to master the art of responding to disruptions and executing positive transformative changes.

Join us for an engaging fireside chat with one such trailblazer, Rebecca Liebert, whose journey spans a broad trajectory, beginning with a PhD in Chemical Engineering, an induction into the esteemed National Academy of Engineering, and a successful corporate career that included leadership roles at Nova Chemicals, UOP, and PPG and has culminated with her current role as President and CEO of Lubrizol. We will discuss the key disruptors shaping the chemical industry, her insights into how these disruptors are redefining traditional business models and new avenues for growth. Drawing from her rich background, Rebecca will share her wealth of experience in conceiving and launching disruptive innovations, orchestrating transformations amidst game-changing disruptions (think the electric vehicle revolution) and orchestrating profitable growth in an unprecedented era of turbulence. She will also share her vision for Lubrizol and the role of sustainability as a major driver in the future growth of the company as well as the overall chemical industry.

Shaun Pan, a member of the Société program committee will moderate this discussion.
