NEWS RELEASE: Société de Chimie Industrielle to present its Excellence Awards for Private Equity Performance, Innovation and Shareholder Value Creation on April 30
New York, March 6, 2025 – Société de Chimie Industrielle (“Société”) will award its Excellence Awards to three outstanding companies at a luncheon on Wednesday, April 30 in the ballroom of the Yale Club of New York:
  • Apollo Global Management, Inc. for Private Equity Performance Excellence
  • Dow, Inc. for Innovation Excellence
  • Westlake Corporation for Shareholder Value Creation Excellence

The selection of the awardee companies was conducted by the Award Committee and was based on a comprehensive, data-driven analysis of performance of companies in each of the categories on a global basis. Each of our awardee companies were outstanding performers in each of their respective categories. In addition, these companies are recognized in the industry for their performance in their respective categories. Who We Are

 

Société was founded in 1918 in New York as the American Section of a French parent. Today, Société is an independent organization involved in a number of non-profit activities: sponsoring a noted monthly meeting program, open to nonmembers, at which prominent CEOs, government leaders and scientists from the chemical and related industries share their views on important industry developments; granting fellowships and scholarships to students pursuing the study of chemistry; honoring individuals who have contributed significantly to the industry; and providing a variety of other services to individuals and companies in the industry.
